I consider myself incredibly lucky to have stumbled upon First Take 5 years ago. I started in Danny’s core class and I am now working weekly with Nancy in her Master class. I look back to day one and think about the immense growth I have taken since then, not only as an actor, but personally as well. Nancy is constantly pushing us to wholeheartedly be ourselves, giving us permission to be vulnerable and embrace our failures. She has created a flourishing environment where actors of all levels can feel safe to grow and learn the necessary skills to thrive in this industry. Nancy genuinely cares for each one of her students and presents them with every opportunity she possibly can. I am so grateful to Nancy and to be a part of this beautiful community that she has built.
